Bao anyone?

Ever since reading Steph’s xiao long bao the other day, I couldn’t get my mind off one. Until I came across her brethren – another bao in town! Whether it was a new bao around or has been around for sometime, Steph, you tell me ‘cause it was found near where you dwelled, Sri Petaling.

First look, it looked like some bao with special topping and not too appealing yet. And I wondered how I could finish this big bao, still feeling full from a bowl of oat awhile ago. I tell you - effortless when you slit open its content. Voila it was better than any lo mai kai!! Contained generous chunks of chicken, mushrooms, even duck yolk (Kudos! nevermind the cholesterol) and too much shallots (but healthy ler) and garlic.

Aahh… so satisfying. The not-too-excited part was the price. RM5 for one kai wo bao.
