Exotic Food @ KK

Bored of pork, beef, seafood, chicken and other oh-so-common food?
New in town is Borneo Wild Treasure to enrich your palate choices :)
Not for the faint-hearted though, the animal lovers may shun this place :p

These were my menu list last Sat dinner:

Appertizer is already soooo different from the regular peanut and pickles: SEAWEED :)
Then it's venison soup (tasted very much like herbal chicken soup)...
Recommended by the order-taker man was this terapin (水鱼 or labi-labi) dish *yum yum*
Very nice presentation too :) for ease of transporting hot clay plates.
Not forgeting some fibre in the dish was 香港小芥兰
my first time savoring crocodile-related dish: 鳄鱼皮炒臭豆 (辣) *yum yum*

Finally, there was 东波肉 to replace our first choice three-layer pork which was sold out that day. I reckon this dish is lack of its ummph factor because the fat-layer should have been more and jellier (better one in Cube Restaurant).
The cost of the aboved menu came up to RM133.++ for 4 persons with rice and heongpin tea.
Dessert 龟苓膏 is served on the house to "reduce heatiness" as commonly perceived by general that such exotic food could induced.
Guess the dessert portion was not sufficient for me, my throat started to flame up on the next day evening and today I'm on medical leave to rest and blog this :p

Apparently, this place is known for its breakfast too (check it out here) Interesting indeed!!
Shall return again when I have recovered :) Food, more FOOD!
