I was pleasantly surprised to read the headline "Archie Andrews is getting married!" in MSN Live today. Archie comics or the tales from Riverdale were part of my growing up years. If listening to Mandarin/Canto songs was my Chinese-language "teacher", then THIS was my English teacher :p
Archie comics were imported stuff, so having them was such a luxury. I remembered pestering my parents to buy them once awhile.. RM10+ for a double digest! To date, I think I owned 20+ digest. Stopped buying them after high school.
So, this indecisive guy named Archie Andrews has finally popped THE question to Veronica Lodge. What?! And left goody-two-shoe Betty Cooper crying?? If you knew them like I do, you would probably have the same respond.. but give credit to him, he has finally made a decision!!
Other amusing characters include the-all-perfect Reggie, gluttony Jughead, kind Ethel, no-brain Moose, feminine Midge, clumsy headmaster Mr Weatherbee and grumpy Ms Grundy, the school janitor and their parents.
The Archies reminded me of my growing up years :)

I always imagine tat Archie'd finally come to his senses n go for Betty. Either tat, or Betty'll meet some1 who is actually worth it..
