Life’s tough and can be a heck of competition and you can be sure even donuts know that well.


Only days after the launch of the new Indon donuts on the block, another new one comes along in the name of Big Apple! Easily mistaken (I did!) by the name as coming from the famed Big Apple, New York itself but this brand is actually home bred, our own Bolehland brand.


Aiyo, suddenly I’m rained with all these donuts in town. Again, my housemates spared no time in getting the donuts home and I had to finish what they couldn’t – 3 delectable donuts!! And it was near bedtime, poor me, stuffed with yummy donuts again. I might dream of donuts chasing me in my sleep one of these days. Hahaha..

Well, I had super high tolerance to most food, so be it Big Apple or J. Co donuts also I’m fine and satisfied. But for the sake of conclusion, I have to say, most people and myself prefer J. Co donuts. Why? Because it’s a foreign brand. NAH! Not that, so point-blank un-patriotic meh… For originality and authenticity credits lar! Where got people copy from competitor so cun-cun one.. look at the photos that I put up here, both had the SAME toppings! Wa lau eh, even packaging was same. Talk about fierce eye-to-eye competition.


While they compete, consumers like me will just have to gobble more down to have them stay in business. BIG RESPONSIBILITY! Wonder what my housemates would bring back tomorrow… Mmm…
